Medical Technologist Lead - Bradenton, FL Shift: Mixed (7-10 hours)Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Medical Technologist Lead to join a high-performing acute care laboratory team in Bradenton, FL. This role is ideal for a senior-level Med Tech with strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and proficiency across multiple lab sections. Key Responsibilities: Perform STAT and routine clinical laboratory testing within licensed technical areas.Ensure accuracy and efficiency by applying theoretical concepts and independent judgment.Maintain required licensure and competency in Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology.Assist with non-technical tasks such as specimen collection, processing, and referral testing when needed.Serve as the primary laboratory point of contact for the facility's trauma team during assigned shift.Uphold regulatory compliance and support department goals in quality, service, workflow, and patient satisfaction.Collaborate with leadership and interdisciplinary teams to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.Qualifications: Associate Degree in a Science-related field (required)Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology (preferred)State of Florida Medical Technologist LicenseTechnical specialties in:Blood Bank / ImmunohematologyChemistryHematologyMinimum 3-5 years of experience in a medical laboratoryExperience working across 5+ lab areas preferred
