A skilled MRI technologist is sought for a contract position in South Charleston, WV, providing expert imaging services in both hospital and outpatient settings. Responsibilities Perform routine MRI exams, including specialized prostate and breast imaging Conduct scans on patients with pacemakers, implants, and stimulators Manage an average of 15-20 studies daily across three scanner rooms Utilize EMR (EPIC) and PACS (FUJI Synapse) systems for image management Start IVs as required for imaging procedures Adhere to rotating 8-hour shifts (either 8:00 AM-4:30 PM or 10:30 AM-7:00 PM), including weekends and call rotation Participate in department-specific orientation and follow established protocols and dress code (black scrubs, not provided) Qualifications Current ARRT (MR) registration required; ARMRIT certification is also acceptable Minimum of 1 year MRI experience preferred Proficiency with GE and Siemens MRI equipment Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Additional Details Reporting to Lead Tech No self-scheduling or block scheduling available Weekend and call rotations are mandatory This contract opportunity provides a dynamic clinical environment to advance your MRI skills with supportive team leadership.
