Cath Lab Tech in Hialeah, FL

Seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to support cardiovascular procedures in a fast-paced cardiac catheterization unit located in Hialeah, FL. This contract role offers exposure to advanced imaging technologies and a collaborative environment dedicated to high-quality patient care. Responsibilities: Assist with diagnostic and interventional coronary procedures, structural heart cases, and peripheral vascular interventions Prepare and operate advanced imaging equipment including MacLab, GE, and Philips systems Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergencies with ACLS and BLS protocols Accurately document procedures using the Meditech system Participate in call coverage during evenings and weekends, supporting a 3:1 patient ratio Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes Qualifications and Desired Experience: Current ACLS and BLS certification required Certified Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) or Radiology Technologist credentials mandatory Experience performing cardiac catheterizations, interventional coronary cases, structural heart procedures, and electrophysiology (EP) monitoring Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to perform independently in a demanding environment Compassionate, team-oriented approach with excellent communication skills Schedule/Hours: Primarily day shift Call responsibilities on evenings and weekends Location: Hialeah, FL offers a vibrant community just northwest of Miami with a diverse population and numerous cultural attractions.
