An opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician with IV/Infusion certification to support an infusion pharmacy in Franklin, TN. This position is ideal for candidates with IV preparation experience who hold a Tennessee pharmacy technician license and are interested in an 8-week contract with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role based on performance. Responsibilities include working under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to accurately fill prescriptions and prepare IV medications. You will assist with prepackaging medications following regulatory standards, collaborate with the billing team for data entry and reimbursement processing, and support final prescription checks. Additional duties involve maintaining inventory accuracy by managing medication supplies with regard to lot numbers and expiration dates, ensuring a clean and safe work environment, and performing equipment calibration and safety checks alongside the Technician Supervisor.
