Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for cardiopulmonary patients of all ages and acuity levels Manage ventilators and critical care respiratory therapy effectively Deliver neonatal and pediatric respiratory services, including Level 2 NICU support Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes Qualifications and Experience: Current NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification (CRT not accepted) Valid Colorado Registered Respiratory Therapist license (DORA-RT) in good standing Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program Minimum of 5 years of respiratory therapy experience, with strong critical care and ventilator expertise Neonatal and pediatric experience, including Level 2 NICU proficiency Current American Heart Association certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP (AAP) - all mandatory Experienced traveler preferred; candidates seeking their first traveler assignment will not be considered Schedule: Work two 12-hour day shifts per week No on-call duties Housing: Newly remodeled studio apartments are available just half a block from the hospital. These fully furnished units include Wi-Fi, utilities, and on-site laundry, with no deposit required. Monthly rental rates are $1790 for a studio and $1980 for a small one-bedroom, subject to availability during the assignment. Please note pets are not allowed. This contract opportunity requires candidates whose permanent address is at least 75 miles away from the facility location.
