Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Union City, GA location is looking for a new QSHE Specialist to join our Contract Logistics team. How you create impact As the Quality Specialist you will serve as the primary contact for all matters related to training, safety, security, and environmental conditions at the Southern Logistics Center (SLC). You will oversee shift‑based training for all employees-including new hires and temporary personnel-ensuring qualified trainers deliver instruction and that all training is accurately documented according to company policies. You will also manages the reporting of safety and security incidents and monitors warehouse environmental conditions to maintain compliance and operational integrity. You will work closely with Human Resources, Site Leadership, and temporary/4PL partners to ensure consistent communication, standardized processes, and a safe, compliant work environment. * Plan, schedule, organize, and accomplish Basic Training for New Employees * Report all HSE Incidents * Performing Behavioral Based Safety Observations * Report all Security Incidents * Monitor warehouse environmental conditions * Maintain the Local Training Matrix as the official training plan for the branch * Assist management in maintaining the branch KNPS "Skills Assessment" * Ensure evidence of required and additional training is recorded and maintained * Compile training statistics and reports for management * Identify and achieve continuous improvement by comparing training effectiveness to training processes * Understand and adhere to local, State, and Federal regulations inclusive, but not limited, to OSHA, DOT, EPA and other government agencies What we would like you to bring * High School Degree (College Degree preferred) * 2+ years of experience providing, presenting, or managing training programs and material * 2+ years QSHE experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment * Some level of responsibility in safety management * Must have conceptual knowledge of Adult Learning * Effective written and verbal communication skills * Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel * Overtime and weekends may be required What's in it for you There has never been a better time to work in logistics.
