Minimum of 5 years of leadership and supervisory experience in residential services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in 6100/6400 regulations, required. 5-10 years of experience as DSP within 6400 regulations, required. Active Mandated Reporter and Fatal Five certification. Must be able to successfully meet the regulated background check requirements. The Program Supervisor at AMP will be responsible for the overall leadership, coordination, and oversight several homes, individuals and DSP staff within the organization. This role ensures high-quality, person-centered services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, while maintaining compliance with all regulatory, licensing, and organizational standards. This position directly reports to the Program Manager. The Program Supervisor will be required to provide coaching, counseling and mentorship to all DSPs to ensure leadership development and accountability. The Residential Program Supervisor will be on-call on a rotation basis with the other Program Supervisor, will answer their work cell 9A-5P, conduct random house visits during all shifts including weekends, schedule their homes in a 24-7 environment, ensure all paperwork, medical visits and medications documentation is being completed and on time. The Program supervisor will ensure staff are adhering to the guidelines as outlined in each consumer’s ISP and maintain compliance with all ODP and other state regulations within the human services industry. The Program Supervisor will represent and model the standard and mission of AMP Home Care. The Program Supervisor at AMP demonstrates an understanding of and belief in positive approaches as a guiding philosophy, along with a strong commitment to community integration for people with disabilities. The Program Supervisor should be proactive and a motivated self-starter that engages well with the team and other community professionals. The Program Supervisor is responsible for the management of all the residential homes while ensuring a healthy emotional and physical environment for all of our individuals. This person should be able to work independently and proactively helps the organization to grow by increasing referrals and retaining high Individual satisfaction, staff retention, and compliance with all applicable rules and regulations.
