MRI Rad Tech Specialist

Work with a great team and cutting edge scanning technology as a patient-centered MRI Technologist in a Level 1 Trauma Center. This position joins an expanding team and performs MRI exams using independent judgment and initiative, prepares patients for MRI exams, administers contrast media, and is capable of starting an intravenous catheter. This position also functions as a resource for Radiologic Technology students and interns and is an advocate for MRI safety. This job provides: * Environmental balance - 1.5-2 techs per scanner. * Safety focus around MRI safety. * Creative work schedule and more time outside of work. * Lots of variety - rotation through both clinics and Regions Hospital. * No call! * Holiday rotation. Work Schedule: * 0.9 FTE Day/Evening rotation One Saturday per month Holiday rotation required Frequent opportunities to pick up additional hours * Locations: Rotation between the Hospital and Apple Valley MRI locations Required Qualifications: * One year of Radiologic Technologist clinical experience. * Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). * Registered as an MRI Technologist with the ARRT. * BLS from an AHA- or ARC-sponsored program.
