Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift weekend position in a large 800-bed hospital's Radiology CT Scan department, requiring 2+ years of CT imaging experience including ED trauma and stroke imaging.Job Details• Hospital-based CT Scan department located on the 2nd floor of a large 800-bed facility,• Procedures include neuro, MSK, body imaging, invasive CT, cardiac imaging, and pediatric imaging,• Experience in ED trauma and stroke imaging is required for this role,• Equipment used includes GE Optima, 3 GE EVO, GE Revolution, and Medrad Injectors,• EMR systems are Cerner Rad Net and Philips PACS,• Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, Friday through Sunday,• Possible rotation to another shift,• Potential call of approximately 12 hours per month,Job Requirements• Minimum of 2 years of CT imaging experience, including diagnostic and invasive scans,• Must have active experience within the last 6 months in the CT Tech role,• Proficiency in ED trauma and stroke imaging is required,• ARRT (R) certification required,• License required if applicable,• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start,• GE equipment experience, invasive CT, cardiac CT, and venipuncture skills are preferred,• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position,• US SSN and DOB required for consideration,• One professional reference required (two required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri),• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,Additional Information• Night shift staffing typically consists of 2-3 technologists and a Rad Assistant,• Day shift includes 5 technologists and a supervisor; evening shift includes 4-5 technologists and a Rad Assistant,• Ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player who can also work independently,• Black scrubs required,• Local candidates are not eligible for this position - no exceptions
