Position Title: Full-Time NeurologistLocation: Ashtabula, OHPosition Overview:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Full-Time Neurologist to join our growing outpatient-focused practice in Ashtabula, OH. This position offers flexibility with scheduling, allowing you to choose between 5 eight-hour shifts or 4 ten-hour shifts per week. You will work alongside a dedicated full-time Neurohospitalist who handles inpatient care and takes call, which means your call responsibilities will be shared, amounting to just two times per week. This position is primarily outpatient-focused, with a patient volume of around 13-15 patients per day, treating conditions such as migraine management and enhancing the quality of life for patients recovering from stroke.Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive outpatient care for neurological conditions, focusing on migraine management and improving stroke recovery outcomes. Manage a steady patient load of 13-15 patients per day, offering tailored treatment plans to enhance patients' quality of life. Share a call schedule with the full-time Neurohospitalist, resulting in call duties two times a week, with a total of 10 or fewer call days per month. No inpatient stroke rehab unit, but you will work closely with patients in the outpatient setting to assist with stroke recovery. Potential opportunity to onboard APP (Advanced Practice Provider) support in the future, expanding clinical capacity and improving workflow.Schedule Options: Flexible schedule: Choose between 5 eight-hour shifts or 4 ten-hour shifts per week, allowing for an excellent work-life balance.Qualifications: Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologist. Experience in outpatient neurology, with a focus on migraine management and stroke rehabilitation. Active Ohio medical license or eligibility to obtain one. Strong communication skills and ability to foster positive relationships with patients and colleagues.Call Expectations: Shared call schedule with a full-time Neurohospitalist, limiting your call to just two times per week. 10 or fewer call days per month, ensuring a manageable workload.Why Ashtabula?
