Hospital Details: Hospital Bed Size: 500 adult beds, 126 ICU beds Trauma Level: level 1, level IV NICU Reason For Coverage: PA leaving Dates or Required Availability: immediate through the fall/winter of 2026 Minimum Monthly Availability Required for Candidate Submittals: 7-10 minimum shifts per month Detailed Shift Explanation: We are seeking APP coverage of our 25 bed cardiac ICU. The shift starts with check out 5 pm and ends at 6:30 am. The APP will be expected to provide first call coverage for 12-13 CICU patients. The Cardiac ICU mostly cares for post operative patients including neonatal surgeries as well as VAD and potentially heart transplant patients. There is in house cardiac ICU physician coverage overnight. Call Details: No Call Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days Credentialing Requirements: PA, Pediatric Acute Care APRN Job Details: Setting: Pediatric ICU Patient Volume for Specified Dept: 25 bed cardiac ICU Main Position duties /Required Procedures: o Performs history and physical assessments of patients that are accurate, complete, concise, relevant and appropriate for age, gender and clinical problem. o Orders appropriate diagnostic studies and correctly interprets results. o Develops, implements, evaluates, and alters the plan of care as needed. o Maintains accurate, complete, concise and timely documentation in electronic medical records.
