About the Team: The research team operates within the company, acting as internal consulting team and conducting research on economic and philosophical studies, global history and international affairs. The team tracks macro trends, and strives to develop deep, insightful knowledge and understandings about the global context of the company. - Provide analysis and recommendations through desk research; - Build and maintain trustful cooperative relationships with scholars and researchers, academic institutions, and other relevant stakeholders; - Draft reports for senior business leaders on topics of interest. Minimum Qualification(s) - Excellent ability to see the big picture of cultural and societal issues and deliver research outputs: the researcher will need to be able to provide in-depth and interdisciplinary research covering areas such as comparative cultural and philosophical studies, world civilizations and global affairs, and to identify their long-term implications for our company. - Strong network in the academic community: the expert will need to communicate with leading scholars and experts on related topics. - Strong teamwork and communication skills: the expert will need to work with experts and staff in our company to complete research work. - Growth mindset: the expert must be comfortable with trying new things and iterating and improving based on feedback. Preferred Qualification(s) - No specific academic background is required, but candidates for Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) majors, or having a similar extensive understanding of social sciences and humanities, are preferred. - 5+ years of research/industry experience is preferred.
