Director of Nursing

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead and oversee our nursing department. The DON is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting the professional development of nursing staff. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily nursing operations and clinical services Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Develop, implement, and monitor nursing policies and procedures Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff Manage staffing schedules, budgets, and resource allocation Collaborate with physicians, administrators, and interdisciplinary teams Monitor patient care outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives Lead infection control, safety, and risk management programs Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s preferred Minimum of 3–5 years of nursing leadership experience (long-term care, hospital, or skilled nursing preferred) Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Preferred Skills Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems Proven ability to lead teams and drive performance improvements Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
