**Role Overview** The **Director, Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO)** will be a pivotal leader within the organization, responsible for managing a portfolio of **Medicaid / Medicare Growth Initiatives** projects, leading a team of project managers and supporting resources including business analysts, and leading key strategic initiatives, ensuring effective execution of complex product development, capability implementation, and process improvement initiatives. Specific responsibilities of the role include the management of a portfolio in a manner that meets cost, scope, schedule, and value objectives, aligns with the business and clinical partners objectives, and is executed in a manner that is consistent with the enterprise portfolio team's policies and procedures. The role will establish strategy, oversee a team of project managers and business analysts, and provide executive-level visibility into portfolio progress. The Director EPMO will align project execution with business objectives, drive best practices across functions, and implement a life-cycle methodology (waterfall, Agile, agile-lite) or other approach tailored to the needs of the portfolio projects. The director will also be a skilled relationship manager that can navigate a complex organization, build relationships, drive problem and issue resolution, and manage risks from identification to mitigation. **Work Arrangement** + This is a 100% Remote position but you must live in EST or CST time zones **Responsibilities** + Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the company's project management process to align with the organization's overall business goals. Establish, communicate, and enforce consistent standards, tools, and methodologies for project management across the organization. Manage the assigned project portfolio, prioritizing resources to maximize business impact + Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, continuous improvement and accountability. Build organizational capanility in project management through training, coaching and process improvement. Drive succession planning and career development within the project management function + Project & Portfolio Oversight: Oversee the lifecycle of product development and strategic projects, including growth initiatives from conception through implementation. Provide executive updates on projects status, issues, risks, and outcomes, ensuring transparency and alignment with business and clinical strategy. Partner with business and clinical owners and shared services to ensure smooth transitions and on-time, on budget delivery that delivers on expected value to the organization + Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between project team and executive leadership. Engage with cross-functional leaders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and align resources. Ensure stakeholder input is integrated into decision-making and project execution + Continuous Improvement & Risk Management: Champion lessons-learned processes and integrate feedback into future initiatives. Identify systemic issues and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and success rates. Proactively identify risks across the project portfolio and establish mitigation strategies + Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts, ensuring implementation timelines are met, and optimizing vendor performance + Budget Management: Develop and manage project level budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and appropriate allocation of resources **Education and Experience** + Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience + At least five to ten (5 - 10) years of experience as a Director EPMO, working in a MCO environment + MUST have previous experience in Medicaid / Medicare Plan implementations (new business activations and re-procurements) + Strong relationship building skills and credible, articulate leadership skills + High degree of problem solving and decision-making quality **Our Comprehensive Benefits Package** Flexible work solutions including remote options, hybrid work schedules, Competitive pay, Paid time off including holidays and volunteer events, Health insurance coverage for you and your dependents on Day 1, 401(k) Tuition reimbursement and more.
