Travel Respiratory Therapist - Registered RT/RRT

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week night shift travel assignment at a long-term acute care hospital in Seattle, WA.Job Details• Long-term acute care hospital (LTACH) setting in Seattle, WA,• Respiratory therapy department serving both inpatient and outpatient populations,• Night shift hours: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM,• Every other weekend required,• 13-week contract,Job Requirements• NBRC RRT or CRT certification required,• Active WA RT license required (license required if applicable),• BLS and ACLS certifications required - must be through the American Heart Association (AHA); RCIS certifications are not accepted,• Minimum 1 year of clinical respiratory therapy experience,• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date,• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,• SSN and date of birth required for consideration,Additional Information• Responsibilities include ventilator management, airway maintenance, intubation, arterial line insertion, delivery of medicated aerosols, pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gas analysis,• Assists physicians with both invasive and non-invasive procedures,• Follows protocols approved by the medical staff and department policies to deliver timely diagnostic and therapeutic services,• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate,• Previous employment at any Kindred Hospital facility (permanent or contract) must be disclosed during the consideration process,• RTO requests within the first 3 months of the assignment should be disclosed upfront
