A skilled Imaging Cath Lab Technician opportunity is available in Dyer, IN, on a contract basis. This role involves supporting cardiac catheterization procedures in a professional healthcare setting equipped with advanced cath lab technology. Qualifications & Desired Experience: Minimum 2-3 years as a Cath Lab Technician Valid Radiologic Technologist State Licensure ARRT Certification required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Experience working with outpatient, inpatient, and emergent cardiac patients Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment Location: Work will be performed at a cardiac catheterization unit located in Dyer, IN. The facility includes a two-bed unit with a 1:1 patient ratio, emphasizing high-quality individualized patient care. The department uses EPIC Cupid as its electronic medical record system. Parking information and first-day reporting instructions will be provided upon hire. Responsibilities: Prepare and assist with diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterizations Operate and maintain cath lab equipment and imaging systems Support patient monitoring and safety during procedures Participate in on-call, holiday, and weekend coverage as needed Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure procedural efficiency and patient comfort Complete orientation and required training modules prior to starting Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or 10-hour shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., four days per week 40 guaranteed weekly hours On-call and holiday coverage required This position offers a chance to contribute specialized imaging skills in a focused cardiac care environment.
