We're seeking a Psychiatrist who will bring thoughtful leadership and a collaborative spirit to our team. This position partners closely with program leadership and prescribers to maintain clinical excellence and regulatory compliance.This is a flexible contracted role ideal for a psychiatrist who wants meaningful impact, strong clinical collaboration, and work life balance! The psychiatrist will have the option to provide services virtually, in person, or through a hybrid model based on client and program needs!Work schedule: 20 hours per week with some evening work required. This position has flexibility in working hours! 75% of hours must be billable time.Required QualificationsDoctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) Board Certification in Psychiatry and Board Certification/Eligibility in Child and Adolescent PsychiatryCompletion of an accredited psychiatry residency programActive, unrestricted psychiatric license in PennsylvaniaDEA registration and eligibility to prescribe medication3 or more years of experience working in community mental health, nonprofit, or public sectorPreferred QualificationsPrior experience providing supervision or consultation to advanced practice providers (CRNPs)Familiarity with school-based, early psychosis, or specialized mental health programsPrior experience working within multidisciplinary, team-based care modelsEssential ResponsibilitiesProvide psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for individuals Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with state regulations, managed care organization (MCO) requirements, and Child and Family Focus policiesReview, oversee, and approve psychiatric treatment plans, ensuring medical necessityOffer clinical consultation and supervision to prescribers and clinical staff, including CRNPs and interdisciplinary team membersServe as a psychiatric resource and be available for psychiatric emergencies, including limited availability outside of normal business hours as neededCollaborate as an integral member of a multidisciplinary treatment team, contributing to coordinated, person-centered careWork closely with CRNPs and Program Directors to support operations and clinical qualitySupport quality assurance initiatives, clinical outcomes, and continuous improvement effortsMaintain client confidentiality and privacy in accordance with HIPAA regulationsUse and implement the 5 core values of Trauma-Informed Care in all work practices – Safety, Trustworthiness, Choice, Collaboration, & EmpowermentParticipate in regularly scheduled administrative meetings as needed Work EnvironmentAssigned office: Outpatient Psychiatric Office, 2935 Byberry Road, Hatboro, PAWork performed in a standard office environment as well as out-of-office settings to include client homes, schools, court, medical offices, and other community settings, as neededOpportunity for remote work in designated spaces; remote work requires adherence to confidentiality, HIPAA-compliant standards, meeting professional standards, and maintaining all performance standardsNo inpatient or partial hospitalization care coverage!Compensation and Benefits:$180 an hourFlexible Schedules allows for Work/Life Balance Built-In EHR ToolsCovered under agency insurance Clearance Reimbursement*Eligibility Requirements applyYou’ll be part of a culture that values ethical practice, clinical integrity, teamwork, and compassionate service to the community!Child and Family Focus is an equal opportunity and drug free employer. We provide equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, gender identity, or genetics.
