Traveling Nuclear Medicine Tech

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. The technologist will prepare and administer radioactive drugs, operate radiation detection and imaging equipment, perform a full range of nuclear medicine procedures for ED, inpatient, and outpatient populations, start IVs as needed, and document care in EPIC. Minimum RequirementsAn associate or bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine technology or equivalent education.CNMT or ARRT(N) certification required.Current BLS certification required.Minimum 3 years' experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred. The client lists 3 years as preferred experience.Experience with Siemens nuclear medicine equipment required.Proficiency with EPIC EMR required.Ability to perform all NM procedures and start IVs.Ability to work Monday through Friday day shift, with a 40-hour work week.Assignment DetailsFacility type: Hospital.Shift: Days.Shift hours: 07:00-15:30.Work days: Monday through Friday.Weekly guaranteed hours: 40.Call requirements: None.Weekend shifts: None.Float requirements: Candidate may be required to float within the organization as needed.Patient mix: Emergency department, inpatient, and outpatient.Equipment: Siemens imaging systems.Location HighlightsDiscover Dyer, Indiana, a suburban community near Chicago with regional recreation and easy transport options.
