Job Title: CT Technologist (Travel) Location: Albany, NY 12208 Start Date: April 13, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday Thursday, 12:00 PM 10:30 PM On-Call: Not required Hours per Week: 36 hours Important Note Effective January 11, 2024, local candidates are not eligible for submission (refer to list of ineligible counties). Position Overview We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join a fast-paced Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center. Under the direction of the Medical Director, Radiologist, and department leadership, the technologist will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The role involves working with a diverse patient population, including emergency, inpatient, outpatient, and critical care cases, as well as supporting specialized CT-guided procedures. Key Responsibilities Perform CT imaging procedures for trauma, emergency, inpatient, and outpatient cases Assist with CT-guided interventional procedures as needed Prepare patients and ensure proper positioning for accurate imaging Monitor patients during procedures, including those in critical condition Administer contrast media in accordance with established protocols Evaluate and process images to ensure diagnostic quality Troubleshoot imaging issues and adjust techniques when necessary Adhere to and enforce radiation safety standards in compliance with NY State regulations Maintain accurate documentation and support a high standard of patient care Participate in ongoing learning and support a teaching environment Minimum Qualifications Education: Graduate of an approved 2-year AMA-accredited Radiologic Technology program High school diploma or equivalent Licensure & Certifications: New York State License in Diagnostic Radiography (or limited permit) ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification Current BLS / CPR certification Experience: Open to entry-level candidates; level will be determined based on experience and skill set Prior CT experience preferred Additional Details Position Title: AMC Allied Travel CT Scan Tech Position Type: Travel Specialty: Radiology CT Technologist Position Reason: Contractor Replacement
