Plant AccountantLocation: Kern CountyPay: $100,000 - $110,000 We are seeking a Plant Accountant to join a well-established company in Kern County. This role will support plant operations by overseeing cost accounting, inventory, and financial reporting activities. It's a great opportunity to work closely with operations and leadership in a hands-on, high-impact environment. Key Responsibilities:Oversee cost accounting functions including standard costing and variance analysisMonitor inventory, production costs, and inventory valuationSupport month-end close including journal entries and account reconciliationsPrepare plant-level financial reports and analysisPartner with operations to improve cost efficiency and performanceTrack and analyze manufacturing variances and key performance metricsAssist with budgeting and forecasting processesEnsure accuracy of financial data and internal controls Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or agricultureExperience with cost accounting and inventory managementUnderstanding of standard costing and variance analysisProficient in Excel and accounting/ERP systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work cross-functionally with operations teams #LI-AC8#INMAR2026 EB-8743198969
