CompensationMount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.Status: Per DiemShift: VARIED SHIFTDepartment: Cat ScanPosition SummarySummary:The CT Technologist performs all C.T. exams following department protocols under the Direction of the Radiologist.QualificationsResponsibilities:Education Required• Must complete in-house orientation program• Graduate of A.M.A. approved Radiologic Technology program.Experience And Skills• Excellent interpersonal skills• Speaks, reads and writes English • 2 years experience as a Radiology Technologist or 1 year in CT Scan peferred or has successfully completed the Mount Sinai South Nassau CT Training program or holds current ARRT certification in CTLicense/Certifications• Current N.Y.S. License in Radiologic Technologist. A.R.R.T Certification in CT Scan preferred.• Current certificate in BLS from the American Heart Association. • Current certification with injection from the NYS Dept. of Health.Working ConditionsOther information:Working Conditions• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn• Standing: Particularly for sustained periods of time. • Pushing: Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward or outward. • Pulling: Using upper extremities to exert force in order to draw haul or tug objects in a sustained motion. • Heavy work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, &/or in excess of 50 lbs. of force frequently &/or 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.
