CT Tech Computed Tomography Tech | Bronx, New York

A 13-week contract opportunity is available for a skilled CT Technologist experienced in imaging modalities such as CT and CT/PET. This position is based in the Bronx, NY, and offers the chance to work five 8-hour day shifts with specific scheduling details to be discussed during the interview process. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Current New York State license Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT) with CT specialization Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Proven experience in CT and CT/PET imaging Interest in transitioning to a permanent position is preferred Responsibilities: Perform high-quality CT and PET scans in accordance with established protocols Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures ensuring patient safety and comfort Operate imaging equipment effectively to capture diagnostic images Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff for accurate image interpretation Maintain detailed patient records and adhere to radiation safety guidelines Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (days) Exact days and times will be finalized during the interview Additional Information: The position is contract-based with the possibility to convert to permanent for strong candidates A second interview will involve an in-person scan assessment lasting 3-4 hours, and the candidate will be compensated for this time Pay rate is competitive and negotiable for multi-modality technologists Location Insight: The Bronx offers a dynamic urban environment with diverse communities and rich cultural amenities.
