Job specificationCandidate requirementsJob specification Oversee and manage the daily operations of patient services, ensuring the highest quality of care across all departments. Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Develop and implement patient care programs that improve patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and hospital standards, maintaining the highest levels of patient safety and care quality. Work closely with physicians, department heads, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and optimize service delivery. Manage the department's budget, including staffing, supplies, and resources, to ensure cost-effective care. Participate in hospital-wide strategic planning and contribute to the continuous improvement of patient services. Handle escalated patient issues, providing direct care and intervention when necessary. Candidate requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Healthcare Administration preferred. Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and healthcare management software.
