Job Type Part-timeDescriptionPRESCHOOL EXTENDED DAY STAFF, PART-TIME St. Patrick Catholic Preschool is looking for part-time staff for our Extended Day Program for the 2026-2027 school year.Schedule Monday-Friday from 11:00am-3:00pm for students in our 4-year-old and 3-year-old classes.Essential Job Functions • Promote and supervise students and activities in the aftercare program while providing a safeand nurturing environment.• Take attendance, supervise lunchtime, take students outside or in the gym for gross motor play,monitor sign-out procedures with parents/guardians, monitor students with allergies.• Assist with craft activities, reading time, bathroom breaks, clean-up.Summary of Benefits RequirementsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Must be a practicing Catholic.• Must love small children and provide a loving and safe environment.• Work with fellow Extended Day staff in a cooperative, respectful manner.• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.• Ability to engage in self-evaluation regarding performance and professional growth.• Professionalism expected in attire, communication, and demeanor.Qualifications Profile • Will be required to complete the Safe Environment requirements of the Rockford Diocese VirtusOnline program.• Will be required to complete CPR/First Aid training.Salary Description $15.00-$18.00
