Working within the scope of professional license and with minimal supervision, the therapist evaluates patients and recommends individualized treatment plans, explaining procedures and treatments effectively to patients and providing necessary education upon discharge.ResponsibilitiesConduct routine physician-prescribed treatments using various ventilatory equipment and oxygen delivery systems.Perform chest physiotherapy and suctioning using appropriate methods.Monitor patients through oximetry and capnography according to policy.Review patient's chest x-rays and perform basic pulmonary function studies.Assist with respiratory care-related procedures, including bronchoscopy, tracheostomy care, and more.Administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation following BLS and ACLS guidelines.Maintain accurate respiratory therapy records and communicate findings with physicians.Participate in equipment maintenance and data entry related to therapy.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureCandidate must possess a valid respiratory therapy license and appropriate certifications as required in the healthcare facility.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
