Description:pay rate of $20.47/hour and a bill rate of $26/hour Work hours: 9:00AM-5:30PM, onsite Lab Technician - CONJUGATION Job Summary The Lab Technician is expected to work independently, performing administrative multitask functions involve in Conjugation. The person directly reports to the immediate supervisor and will support the conjugation team with the daily lab operations. This position is responsible for performing goods receipt of new product releases, data entry in Halfpipe and SAP, scanning batch records in DocuNECT, maintaining adequate supply of buffers and lab supplies needed for daily production. He/she must possess intermediate computer and analytical skills. The Lab Technician must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, highly diverse, team-oriented work environment. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Primary duties include but are not limited to the following: • Consistency in documentation, data entry, labeling, aliquot of QC samples, and committing to due dates. • Perform goods issue and goods receipt of finished production orders in SAP • Review and address issues during document review to minimize impact to the business. • Scan completed batch records in DocuNECT • Support departmental laboratory supply management by requesting stock from the Receiving Department using the Intranet database and stocking supplies in designated locations. • Follow all departmental guidelines and procedures. • Promotes a safe work environment. Offers recommendations on maintaining the safety of the work environment. Participates in Environmental Health & Safety programs. Participates in addressing corrective actions whenever a hazard is identified. Notifies supervisor of all observed unsafe work practices. May provide recommendations on maintaining the safety of work environment. • Perform duties as assigned by supervisor and trainer, following their instructions. Qualifications Knowledge and Skills: • Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and attention to detail • Strong math skills, including knowledge of the metric system unit of measure • Intermediate computer skills, Word and Excel • Good written and verbal communication skills • Demonstrated ability to follow established policies and procedures. • Self-motivated, ability to work with minimum supervision • Proficient learner with new tasks and methods • Good attendance and solid work ethic • Demonstrated ability to keep neat, accurate and complete records and logs. • Flexibility and adaptability • Knowledge of general laboratory safety. Education and Experience • Minimum requirements for this position include an Associate of Science degree or equivalent with 1-3 years relevant experience is required. Ability to read, write, and speak English.
