This position will address the needs of nursing personnel regarding drug disposition and usage; counsel patients and health care professionals, as needed, by providing general and specific drug information; ensures timely and medically appropriate dispensing of medication to patients for assigned areas; be trained check, and also prepare, hazardous and non-hazardous sterile products in accordance to USP 797 standards. The ideal candidate will be a motivated team-player with excellent time management and communication skills.Required to have valid SC pharmacist license upon hire, or in place within 90 days of hireAdditional Job DescriptionMinimum Training and Education: Doctor of Pharmacy or a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy. Completion of a pharmacy residency preferred.Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy.
