**Job Summary and Responsibilities** + Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures, including bone scans, PET scans, SPECT scans, and thyroid uptake studies. + Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients according to established protocols. + Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety. + Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. + Maintain accurate and complete patient records. + Participate in quality assurance programs and continuing education activities. **Job Requirements** + More than one (1) year previous experience as a nuclear medicine technician + Current on continuing education units required by the licensing boards + Demonstrates knowledge of Nuclear Medicine procedures in vivo and in vitro Radiopharmacy-dose calibration and calculations bio-routing of labeled products computers and some computer processing. + Special training in Nuclear Medicine + California Nuclear Medicine Technician certification (CT NMT) + Current AHA CPR card (CT CPR BLS) **This position is represented by SEIU UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.** **Where You'll Work** St. John's Regional Medical Center located in Oxnard California is a recognized as a Top 250 Hospital in the Nation and as one of America's 100 Best Hospitals for Cardiac Care by Healthgrades.
