Cath Lab Technologist New Cath Lab Unit Up to $82/Hour | 8-Hour Days | Auburn, NY A healthcare facility in Auburn is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to join their new Cath Lab unit. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled tech ready to take on a leadership role and help precept incoming staff. Compensation & Schedule Pay Rate: Up to $82.00 per hour Shift: 8-hour day shifts Call Requirement: 1 week every 3 weeks 4:30 PM 8:00 AM (weekdays during call week) 24-hour call coverage Saturday & Sunday during call week STEMI call required Key Responsibilities Scrub in for the sterile portion of Cath Lab procedures Circulate within the procedure room and manage non-sterile responsibilities Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce procedural imaging Assist with balloon pump cases Administer and monitor conscious sedation Precept and mentor new Cath Lab staff Document procedures using Mac Lab Operate Client equipment Requirements RCIS or ARRT certification required Current ARRT certification and registration in one of the following: Cardiovascular (CV) Interventional Radiography (IR) Vascular-Interventional (VI) New York State Radiologic Technologist License required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Experience with balloon pumps required Conscious sedation training required Strong clinical and leadership skills Additional Information Candidates must be prepared to precept new staff joining the Cath Lab.
