**QC Chemist** Science & Research Los Angeles County , CA, US + Added - 28/01/2026 Pay Rate Low: 26 | Pay Rate High: 28 _Our client, a leading cosmetics manufacturer, is looking for a skilled QC Chemist to join their team in Los Angeles County, CA!_ **Job type:** Contract- hire **Location:** L.A County, CA **Responsibilities** + Perform stability testing on new and existing products to determine shelf life + Pull and test raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications + Collect, prepare, and ship samples for third-party laboratory testing + Generate Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for finished goods + Maintain, calibrate, and ensure proper operation of laboratory instruments and equipment + Assist R&D with formulation development, testing, and optimization + Prepare, review, and organize quality documentation for QA review + Support inventory management of laboratory supplies, samples, and materials + Follow SOPs, GMPs, and internal quality procedures + Assist with continuous improvement of QC and laboratory processes **Requirements** + B.S degree with prior experience performing QC testing in a laboratory setting + Background in Chemistry or a related scientific field + Strong attention to detail and accuracy in testing and documentation + Ability to manage multiple priorities and wear multiple hats + Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment + Strong organizational and time management skills + Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across teams + Willingness to follow safety protocols and quality standards /#LI-AH1 We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
