Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Job

We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Reno, NV where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.Minimum Requirements: Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.Current Nevada state respiratory license in hand prior to submission. Must apply for State of Nevada Point of Care Analyst license, Director of Point of Care, or General Supervisor of Point of Care prior to start.Minimum 2 years of acute care respiratory therapy experience in an acute care or hospital setting (adult critical care, general care, pediatric care experience preferred).AHA BLS certification required.Ability to perform respiratory therapy procedures across the lifespan from neonatal to geriatric patients and document care appropriately.Willingness to float to other facilities as needed within competency limits, and to work varied schedules that may include weekends and holidays.Preferred: Experience in high-acuity, fast-paced environments such as trauma or stroke centers.Assignment DetailsFacility type: Hospital.Shift type: Flex Shifts (3x12 and rotating days noted in facility template; schedule may include varied shifts).Weekly guaranteed hours referenced by facility: 36 hours (per facility template).Call requirements: No scheduled call required per facility template; schedule may include occasional pick-up shifts and holiday coverage.Float requirements: May be required to float to meet organizational needs up to competency level.Location HighlightsReno offers access to nearby outdoor recreation and an active downtown district.
