House Coordinator of Specialized Services (Designated Mental Health House Manager)- $31.06/hr - Full Time - Minneapolis Medical, Dental, 401k, Company paid Life, STD, LTD, and PTO accrual. Wingspan Life Resources seeks a motivated, engaged, experienced candidate to fill the House Coordinator of Specialized Services (HCSS) position at our program in Minneapolis. At Specialized Services sites, staff are required have experience working with individuals with one of the following: severe mental illness, crisis, physical interventions, and behavior supports. The HCSS supervises a team of employees in a residential setting for two clients with developmental disabilities, mental illness, and interfering behaviors that require strong behavioral programing and intervention services to give the clients the best quality of life they deserve. This role requires a person who is detailed, organized, exhibits strong communication, listening & observation skills, and has the ability to manage stressful situations. Summary of duties: * The House Coordinator will be responsible for all site operational aspects, and provide supervision, training, direct care, work direction and coaching to staff. You will ensure that staffing levels are adequate for the program and ensure that all services are followed and delivered according to county contracts; Coordinated Service and Support Plans (CSSP) and CSSP Addendum; all applicable federal, state and county statutes, rules and regulations, and are in accordance with the mission, policies and procedures of Wingspan Life Resources. * Recruits, trains, and supervises a team of employees and volunteers that effectively provide care, implement programs and enhance the quality of life for clients living in Wingspan homes, according to Wingspan hiring procedures * Responds to site emergency situations and participates in the E-Cell rotation, effectively advising employees and arranging for care and/or treatment * Develops and monitor client plans * Prepares reports and required documentation, monitors and maintains financial records. Qualifications: * 18 years of age or older * Minimum one 1-2 years' experience in working with clients with developmental disabilities and mental illness * Experience working in crisis, and or working with individuals with high behaviors. * Supervisory experience in a residential setting with strong planning and organizational skills preferred * Computer skills * Ability to lift and carry up to 50lb * Ability to complete tasks such as shoveling, mowing, vacuuming, shopping, and pushing a wheelchair. * Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate, read, and write in English * The ability to successfully pass a background check as determined by the Department of Human Services * A valid Driver's License, reliable transportation with proof of auto insurance, and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Check * A passion for helping individuals feel happy, successful, and safe in their lives is highly desired.
