Cafeteria Recess Monitor Oakville Middle School 3.5 hours dailyPosition Summary: Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of students while in the cafeteria and/or on the playground.Qualifications: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Essential Job Functions include the following: Ensures the safety and security of students Supervises, monitors and directs the activities of students on the playground, in the cafeteria, or hallways and other common areas (outside recess unless extreme cold, hot, or rain/sleet/snow) Maintains safety and cleanliness of the playground and cafeteria areas Enforces school rules and policies Documents disciplinary infractions and/or refers the situation to the proper administrator Performs minor first aid and/or refers to the school nurse.
