Job specificationCandidate requirementsJob specification Lead and manage the nursing staff within the Labour and AMP unit, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation. Ensure compassionate, patient-centered, and high-quality care delivery within the unit. Manage day-to-day operations of the Labour and AMP unit, including resource allocation, equipment maintenance, and inventory management. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards for maternal care services. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and optimize maternal care services. Provide leadership and support during maternal emergencies. Candidate requirements A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required; a Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field is preferred. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas. Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience in maternal care, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required. Certification in Maternal Nursing (CMN) is preferred.
