In this role, you will support, optimize, and enhance our Epic Ambulatory applications that power clinic operations and patient care across the system. You will serve as a trusted partner to providers, nurses, and operational leaders by delivering technical solutions that improve workflows, efficiency, and the overall patient experience. This role serves as a subject matter expert (SME), partnering with clinical stakeholders to design, implement, and maintain solutions that support safe, efficient, and high-quality outpatient care delivery.Job OverviewSupport Epic Ambulatory applications and associated clinical workflowsServe as escalation support for complex incidents and system issuesTranslate operational needs into functional and technical solutionsParticipate in system upgrades, enhancements, and new implementationsProvide training and consultation to clinical and operational teamsPromote continuous improvement of ambulatory systems and processesWhat You Will DoTroubleshoot and resolve escalated application issues reported through approved intake processesConfigure, test, and maintain Epic Ambulatory build, including workflows, templates, reports, and toolsCollaborate with providers, clinic leadership, and DTS teams to gather requirements and design solutionsParticipate in upgrades, optimizations, go-lives, and new project initiativesDevelop documentation, testing scripts, and support materialsPerform routine system maintenance and monitoring to ensure optimal performanceCoordinate integration and data exchange points between Epic and other systems as neededProvide end-user training, education, and workflow guidanceServe as an SME and consultant to recommend improvements that maximize system valueFollow change management and production support practices for all system updatesSupport cross-functional teams during critical events or implementationsWhat You Will NeedBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)3-5+ years of healthcare applications support or analyst experience preferredExperience supporting Epic Ambulatory or similar clinical systems strongly preferredUnderstanding of ambulatory clinic workflows and outpatient operationsExperience with system configuration, testing, and troubleshootingStrong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and work independentlyEpic certification or ability to obtain certification within a defined timeframe preferredKeywords:Clinical Applications Analyst, Epic Ambulatory, Ambulatory Analyst, Healthcare IT, Clinical Systems, EHR Support, Epic Certification, Workflow Optimization, System Configuration, Application Support, DTS, Digital Technology Services, Outpatient Clinics, Practice Operations, Clinical Informatics, Integration, Testing, Change Management, Go-Live Support, Healthcare Technology Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
