CT Technologist (CT Only) - Night Shift Location: Chicago, IL Schedule: 10-Hour Shifts | 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM Work Days: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday Days Off: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday Holidays: Required if they fall on scheduled days during contract Position Overview We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a night shift opportunity in Chicago, IL. This role is strictly CT only (no X-ray responsibilities) and requires strong hospital-based experience, including trauma and stroke cases. Schedule Details 4x10-hour night shifts (8:00 PM - 6:30 AM) Fixed schedule: Thursday-Sunday Off: Monday-Wednesday Holiday coverage required if it falls on scheduled shift Equipment & Systems Scanner: GE 64-slice VCT EMR: Epic Key Responsibilities Perform high-quality CT scans in ER, Trauma, Stroke, ICU, inpatient, and outpatient settings Assist with emergent CT Stroke protocol cases Start IVs and administer contrast per protocol Ensure patient safety and accurate positioning Maintain timely and accurate documentation in Epic Follow radiation safety and hospital compliance standards Requirements Minimum 1 year of recent hospital CT experience Experience scanning ER Trauma, Stroke, ICU, inpatient & outpatient cases Strong IV skills (must be able to start IVs independently) BLS (AHA) - Required Experience with GE CT scanners preferred Epic experience preferred Ideal Candidate Comfortable working independently on night shifts Strong critical thinking in high-acuity environments Experienced with stroke and trauma workflows Reliable with consistent Thurs-Sun scheduling
