We partner with hospitals and health systems nationwide to drive financial stability, operational efficiency, and leadership excellence. Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Revenue Cycle Executive to join our team of Executive Transitional Advisors. This role is designed for a proven revenue cycle leader who has sat in the seat-as a VP or SVP-and can now apply that experience to high-impact advisory engagements and interim executive leadership. This is not a traditional consulting role, nor is it a purely operational assignment. We are looking for a rare profile: a senior operator with consultative acumen who can rapidly assess performance, quantify opportunity, and communicate clearly at the executive level. What You Will Do * Lead enterprise revenue cycle assessments across hospitals, health systems, and physician organizations * Diagnose performance gaps across the full revenue cycle (front-end, HIM, coding, billing, denials, AR, cash) * Quantify financial opportunity related to AR, DNFB, denials, underpayments, and cash acceleration * Translate complex operational findings into clear, executive-ready insights and recommendations * Deliver concise, compelling C-suite and Board-level readouts * Develop pragmatic, prioritized improvement roadmaps aligned to organizational capacity * Serve as Interim VP/SVP of Revenue Cycle when needed, providing stability and momentum * Partner with executive teams to strengthen governance, accountability, and performance management What Sets This Role Apart * You will be expected to dive deep into the data-claims, denials, workqueues, KPIs-and elevate those findings into strategic, client-facing narratives and solutions Required Background * Former VP or SVP of Revenue Cycle (or equivalent enterprise role) * Demonstrated success leading revenue cycle operations for hospitals or multi-entity health systems * Proven experience delivering revenue cycle advisory engagements or enterprise assessments * Deep, hands-on expertise in revenue cycle analytics, denial prevention, and revenue integrity * Experience with major EHR platforms (Epic, Cerner, Meditech) Ideal Candidate * A seasoned revenue cycle executive who has evolved into a trusted advisor * Comfortable in ambiguity and complex environments * Highly analytical, structured, and decisive * Able to simplify complexity for non-technical executive audiences * Credible with CEOs, CFOs, COOs, Boards, and physician leadership
