Per Diem Sonographer/Ultrasound Technician

IVIRMA North America network of state-of-the-art fertility practices in the United States, is currently seeking a Per Diem Sonographer/Ultrasound Technician to join our growing Colorado practice. Looking for someone to pick up shifts 7am-4:30pm in our Lafayette office and other locations as needed.Job Purpose: The Sonographer is responsible for providing detailed ultrasound imaging of the female reproductive system to help identify the causes of infertility and to guide fertility treatments.Essential Functions and Accountabilities: Collaborates with physicians, other medical providers, and patients by providing expert care and service for fertility treatmentsEstablishes personal rapport with patientsProvides explanations of proceduresPerforms detailed sonographic examinations of female reproductive systems and identifies abnormalitiesResponsible for generating and documenting ultrasound reports for physician interpretationProcedure set-up, following all sterile precautions.Performs and provides explanations of procedures, including Sonohysterograms, FemVue, and Ultrasound guidance for embryo transfersTracks fetal growth and development up to 9 weeks gestational ageMaintains ultrasound equipmentOrders ultrasound supplies and keeps rooms stocked Travel to other Company locations as neededRotating holiday and weekend shift coverageAcademic Training: Completion of formal Ultrasound training - required ARDMS certification with OB/GYN specialization - required within 90 days of hireCurrent BLS Certification - required within 60 days of hirePosition Requirements/Experience: Previous experience in women's health or reproductive endocrinology and infertility - preferred2- 4 years of experience as an ultrasound technologist - preferredTechnical Skills: Ability to effectively operate all pieces of equipment utilized within the scope of this job.Proficient in computer programs including Excel, Word, and Outlook preferred.IVI-RMA offers a comprehensive benefits package to all employees who work a minimum of 30 hours per week.Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance OptionsRetirement 401K PlanPaid Time Off & Paid HolidaysCompany Paid: Life Insurance & Long-Term Disability & AD&DFlexible Spending AccountsEmployee Assistance ProgramTuition ReimbursementAbout IVIRMA Global: IVIRMA is the largest group in the world devoted exclusively to human Assisted Reproduction Technology.
