Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30) Description: Profession: Certified OR Tech (must be licensed through VA BOM) Location: Outpatient Pavilion- VHC Health Start: As listed in the posting. Schedule: 5x8s (stay late sign up to finish rooms required, approximately 7-8 in a 6 week period) Duration: 13-weeks DEPARTMENT DETAILS: The outpatient pavilion will cover outpatient surgeries only, no inpatient, no overnight stay. Number of rooms: 6 Patient/cases: General, GYN, Breast/Plastics, Urology, Ortho (no totals yet), Podiatry REQUIRED: • Outpatient experience • General Skills: Scrub, Aseptic Technique, • Surgery skills: General, Ortho, Urology, Endo/Laparoscopic, Gyn, Plastics, Podiatry, Breast • L&D skills: Bilateral tubal ligation, Dilation & Curettage, Laparoscopic assisted gynecological procedures, Vulvectomy • BLS • National Cert • VA BOM state (verifiable at ) • 2+ years of experience VACCINE INFO: - The Flu vaccine is required during flu season. (Oct 1st - Mar 31st). - If your traveler is requesting a religious or medical Flu exemption, it will be the responsibility of the agency to ensure the traveler’s request complies with CMS guidelines.
