Enter Job Description... We are seeking a Level 2 Emergency Medicine Physician to provide high-quality emergency medical care at W.W. Hastings Hospital. The physician will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute and chronic medical conditions in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment. The provider will collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team and manage a diverse patient population of all ages in a high-volume emergency care setting. Key Responsibilities Provide emergency medical care to patients of all ages presenting to the Emergency Department. Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions. Perform emergency procedures and stabilization of critically ill or injured patients. Manage patient volume averaging 2.5 3 patients per hour. Document patient encounters accurately using Cerner Electronic Health Record (EHR). Collaborate with specialists including hospitalists, pediatrics, orthopedics, ENT, nephrology, podiatry, OB, and behavioral health services. Provide care across rotating day and night shifts. Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and quality standards. Department Details Total Beds: 33 (13 ER beds + 20 ER overflow beds) Patient Volume: Approximately 200 230 patients per day combined ED/UC volume Coverage: Double physician coverage Typical Shift Times: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM 8:00 AM 8:00 PM 10:00 AM 10:00 PM 11:00 AM 11:00 PM 12:00 PM 12:00 AM 7:00 PM 7:00 AM Required Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department or Urgent Care experience Active Oklahoma Medical License OR ability to obtain prior to start Candidates with IMLC or FCVS credentials may apply Required Certifications ACLS Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support BLS Basic Life Support ATLS Advanced Trauma Life Support Additional Requirements NPDB (National Practitioner Data Bank) report required for submission Billing summaries with CPT codes and descriptions for the last 12 months must be submitted prior to presentation Comfortable treating patients of all ages and acuity levels Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays At Encode, we believe that our employees are our greatest asset, and we are committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment.
