Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - Crestwood, Kentucky

A specialized opportunity for an experienced Cath Lab Technologist is available in Crestwood, KY, at a reputable 7-bed cath lab unit. This contract position requires a minimum of two years of experience and offers engaging work with a varied patient population including cardiac, transplant, surgical clearing, and pulmonary hypertension cases. The healthcare facility is equipped with advanced technology and provides a collaborative environment supported by a full clinical team including nurse managers, cardiologists, hospitalists, intensivists, and other specialists available around the clock. Key Responsibilities: Scrub and monitor cath lab procedures and percutaneous endoscopic support. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient care. Operate and manage advanced equipment, including C-arms from GE and Siemens, McKesson hemodynamic systems, Alariso IV pumps, and Omnicello medication dispensing systems. Maintain readiness for on-call duties including weekend rotations and emergency response within a 30-minute timeframe. Qualifications: Minimum 2 years cath lab experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered. Current BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory; ARRT or RCIS certification accepted. State licensure required. Proficiency with EMR (Cerner) preferred. Schedule and Work Environment: Weekend rotation requires call coverage approximately 1-2 weekends per six-week schedule, 0700 Saturday to 0700 Monday. 1-2 overnight call shifts per week.
