Join us in building a future of accessible, innovative, and compassionate care.About the roleWe are seeking an experienced, patient-centered Part-Time Telehealth Physician to join our growing virtual care platform. This role is fully remote and will provide comprehensive medical care across weight management and men's health service lines. The ideal candidate holds multiple active U.S. state medical licenses, is comfortable practicing across jurisdictions, and is willing and qualified to serve as a Collaborating/Supervising Physician for Nurse Practitioners (NPs) in accordance with state regulations. This position includes a blend of synchronous (phone) and asynchronous (store-and-forward, messaging-based) care delivery, with an emphasis on high-quality, compliant, and efficient virtual care. Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Care:Provide high-quality telehealth services through synchronous and asynchronous encountersDiagnose, treat, and manage patients across the following service lines:Weight Management (including obesity medicine, metabolic health, and lifestyle counseling)Men's Health (e.g., testosterone therapy, erectile dysfunction, hair loss, sexual health, sleep)Prescribe medications safely and appropriately in compliance with federal and state lawsDocument all patient interactions accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR)Escalate care appropriately when in-person evaluation or emergency care is requiredCollaboration & Supervision:Serve as a Collaborating/Supervising Physician for Nurse Practitioners, as required by state lawReview NP charts, prescriptions, and clinical decisions per regulatory and organizational standardsProvide clinical guidance, mentorship, and case consultation to NPsParticipate in required collaborative practice agreement (CPA) meetings, audits, and documentationQuality & Compliance:Maintain compliance with all applicable state-specific scope of practice, supervision, and telehealth regulationsFollow clinical protocols, evidence-based guidelines, and company policiesParticipate in quality assurance, peer review, and clinical improvement initiativesStay current on telehealth best practices and regulatory changes across licensed statesSchedule & WorkloadPart-time commitmentFlexible scheduling with a mix of:Scheduled synchronous (audio) visitsAsynchronous chart review and patient messagingExpected to provide coverage across multiple states and time zonesRequirementsBasic Qualifications: Medical degree from an accredited medical school (MD/DO)Board Certified or Board eligible in a relevant specialty (e.g., Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or related fieldMinimum of 10 Active, unrestricted medical licenses in multiple U.S. states Willingness and eligibility to obtain additional state medical licenses as needed to support organizational growthEligible and willing to act as a Collaborating/Supervising Physician for Nurse Practitioners3+ years of post-residency clinical experience (telehealth experience strongly preferred)Comfort managing care across weight management and men's healthStrong clinical judgment in a virtual care environmentProficiency with EHR systems and telehealth platformsPreferred Qualifications:Prior experience supervising or collaborating with NPs in a telehealth settingExperience in obesity medicine and men's healthAdditional state licenses or participation in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)Experience with asynchronous care modelsKnowledge of telehealth compliance, prescribing regulations, and multi-state practiceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsActive, unrestricted medical licenses in the following states: AL, GA, LA, SC, MS, MO, KY, TNBenefitsHourly Rate: Based on experience and licensureMalpractice insurance coverage
