Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Job

We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you'll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.Minimum Requirements:Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.Current RRT credential and state license in good standing with the State License Board.BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience.Experience with oxygen delivery systems, nebulizers, suction, CPAP and BiPAP equipment.Experience using Meditech EMR preferred.ICU experience preferred.Team player with critical thinking skills and a patient-care focus preferred.Assignment DetailsFacility type: Hospital.Shift: Nights.Shift hours: 1900-0730.Typical patient ratios: 1:1 or 2:1.Unit size and staffing: 12-bed unit with 5-8 staff; night coverage varies by volume and uses on-call team.Required dress: Gray scrubs for Respiratory Therapy.Location Highlights Discover Loxahatchee, FL and nearby attractions.
