OPTOMETRIST (PART-TIME, PER DIEM)

Optometrists at CSC get the opportunity to work for a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and qualify for federal and state programs for student loan repayment. Workplace * Work in a FQHC multi-disciplinary community clinic with primary care optometry service. * State-of-the-art equipment and facility (digital refractor, Maestro-2 OCT and retinal camera, HVF, virtual field VF, etc.) * In-house part-time ophthalmologists for co-management and referral triage * Schedule: Monday to Friday. Last appointments at 4:00pm. Duties and responsibilities * Provide outpatient care for patients with eye-related disorders and conditions. * Conduct routine eye examinations and prescribe corrective lenses when required. * Assist with contact lens fittings. * Diagnose and assist with the management of ocular diseases. * Educate patients about proper eye hygiene and care. * Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications * State-issued license for optometry and O.D. and 3+ years' experience working as an optometrist. * Excellent customer service and organization skills. * Advanced time management skills.
