Job Description Multi Modality Radiology Technologist (Days) - Central Michigan Region Overview A community focused healthcare facility in the Central Michigan region is seeking a Multi Modality Radiology Technologist to perform both CT and X ray imaging in a fast paced hospital environment. This role blends advanced technical skill with patient centered care, supporting inpatient, outpatient, ED, and surgical imaging needs. Key Responsibilities Perform CT and general radiography exams independently, ensuring high quality diagnostic images through proper positioning, technical factors, and QA standards. Operate CT scanners, power injectors, post processing equipment, and radiography units. Adjust imaging protocols based on patient needs and clinical indications. Prepare, position, and educate patients for all procedures, ensuring comfort and safety. Obtain and document thorough patient histories; verify orders and informed consent. Apply ALARA principles and follow all radiation safety guidelines. Perform venipuncture and manage IV access for contrast administration. Assist radiologists during specialized or invasive procedures as needed. Participate in ongoing quality assurance and maintain accurate documentation. Provide occasional coverage after hours, weekends, or holidays depending on department needs. Schedule Full time, Days May include limited off shift or call support depending on department needs. Qualifications Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program ARRT (R) required; Advanced CT registry required (or eligible) Minimum 2 years of full time experience in both CT and X ray in a hospital/ED setting preferred Michigan state license required (or willing to obtain) BLS required Strong ability to work independently in a fast paced environment Why Central Michigan Easy commute and low traffic region Affordable cost of living Supportive, team oriented imaging department Consistent volume without big city burnout Sign on and Relocation bonuses may be available!
