An opportunity is available for an experienced MRI Technologist skilled in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) to support daily operations in a hospital and outpatient center environment. The role emphasizes high-quality imaging using state-of-the-art GE 1.5T closed MRI machines and requires proficiency with GE equipment, including Epic and Change (GE) PACS systems. Location: This position is based in Xenia, OH, a vibrant community offering a blend of small-town charm and access to nearby metropolitan amenities. Responsibilities: Perform MRI exams following established protocols and under the direction of Radiologists and physicians. Operate two MRI units: one hospital-based and one outpatient center. Ensure patient safety by applying MRI safety principles and monitoring during procedures. Accurately select MRI pulse sequences and scan parameters. Start IVs and administer contrast agents safely and effectively. Provide thorough patient instruction and care before, during, and after imaging. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and report issues to maintenance or supervisors. Contribute to staff training and assist in MRI student oversight. Maintain quality control of all patient and procedural data. Qualifications & Experience: ARRT Certification and Registration in Diagnostic Radiology with advanced MRI Registry required (or completion within one year of hire). Minimum of 1 year MRI experience in a hospital setting. Proficiency with GE MRI equipment and familiarity with Epic and PACS preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred upon hire and required before patient care. Associate degree from an ARRT-accredited institution preferred. Schedule: Wednesday 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Imaging lab) with on-call 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Thursday 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Imaging lab) Friday 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Hospital) Weekend call coverage required on selected dates.
