The VISN Clinical Resource Hub (CRH) Primary Care Physician is a VISN based position located in VISN 20. CRH is a clinical and administrative staff repository serving VA facilities within a Veterans Integrated System Network (VISN). Staff are expected to provide interprofessional services to VISN facilities underserved or experiencing gaps in clinicians due to the inability to match provider supply with demand. Services are conducted via multiple modalities, including virtual and in-person care. VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package. VHA Physician Total Rewards. Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME) Retirement: Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA Insurance: Federal health/vision/dental/term life/long-term care (many federal insurance programs can be carried into retirement) Licensure: 1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory CME: Possible $1,000 per year reimbursement (must be full-time with board certification) Malpractice: Free liability protection with tail coverage provided Contract: No Physician Employment Contract and no significant restriction on moonlighting General Description of Assigned Duties: * The Clinical Resource Hub (CRH) Mobile Deployment Team (MDT) provides on-site primary care services and fulfills a requirement under the Mission Act 402. * In-person deployments of clinical staff for short-term assignments (typically 3-6 months) are determined at the discretion of the VISN CRH Associate Director of Primary Care, based on clinical needs and available resources. Functions or Scope of Assigned Duties: * Provides Primary Care services to a panel of patients at one of the VISN 20 facilities through both virtual and in-person modalities, as part of an interprofessional team using the VA's Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) model. * Functions as a member of both a virtual primary care team and the on-site care team at the patient's location to deliver comprehensive primary care to Veterans. * Utilizes Clinical Video Telehealth (CVT) as the primary modality for patient care, with additional use of video-to-home and telephone modalities as clinically appropriate. * May be required to travel occasionally to VISN medical centers or Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) to support in-person care delivery. * All CRH Primary Care Physicians assigned to a PACT team are required to travel to the VA Medical Center every 90 days to conduct face-to-face patient encounters. * If hired for locum tenens-type services, extended periods of in-person care at the patient site will be required. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
