Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a weekend block assignment, performing abdomen, chest, and head & neck CT scans with contrast for an adult to geriatric patient population.Job Details• Weekend block schedule: Friday through Sunday,• Day shifts, 3x12 hours from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM,• CT scan unit serving adult and geriatric patients,• Procedures include abdomen, chest, and head & neck CT with contrast,• EMR and equipment includes Epic, Pyxis, GE, PACS, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba,• On-call rotation required,Job Requirements• Minimum 1 year of CT Tech experience required,• Active BLS and ARRT certifications required,• Professional license required if applicable,• Proficiency with CT imaging including abdomen, chest, and head & neck with contrast,Additional Information• First-time travelers are accepted for this position,• Local candidates are accepted,• Candidates undergo a clinical review to assess fit prior to manager consideration,• RTO is limited to a maximum of 7 days; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment,• If one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work those holidays and no holiday RTO will be approved; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work two of them and one holiday RTO request may be submitted for approval,• Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day,• No alternate shift or schedule change requests are permitted; the posted shift is firm,• Travelers must have been away from all facilities within this health system for at least one full year before returning as a traveler,• Two supervisory references (manager level or above; charge nurses not accepted) are highly preferred
