Most of our patients come to us after years of being dismissed, misdiagnosed, or told their labs are "normal" when they know something is wrong. By the time they schedule a discovery call with us, they're carrying frustration, skepticism, and real fear. We're looking for someone who can meet them there. The Role As a New Patient Advisor, you are the first live voice a prospective patient hears from Modern Thyroid Clinic. Your job is not to sell. It is to listen, to understand, and to help each person determine — honestly and clearly — whether our practice is the right fit for their needs. That means you will: Prepare thoroughly. Before every discovery call, you'll review each individual's background, stated goals, and health concerns so you can show up informed and ready to have a real conversation.Guide with integrity. You'll answer questions accurately, set clear expectations about what we can and cannot do, and never pressure anyone toward a decision. Our patients choose us because they trust us — and that trust starts with you.Follow through consistently. After every call, you'll document outcomes, update our CRM pipeline, and ensure no one falls through the cracks. You'll manage weekly reviews of prospective patients who are still considering, and you'll proactively reach out when expectations need to be reset before a call. This is a role that requires equal parts empathy and discipline. The best patient advisors are outstanding communicators who also happen to be exceptionally organized. What We're Looking For You might be the right person if: You have strong consultative communication skills — the kind that come from genuinely caring about the person on the other end of the call, not from following a script.You understand that the highest form of service is honesty. You'd rather lose an enrollment than mislead someone about what we offer.You are disciplined with systems and process. CRM updates, documentation, and pipeline management aren't chores to you — they're how you ensure nothing slips.You can hold space for someone who has been medically gaslit for years and help them feel safe, heard, and confident in whatever decision they make.
