An opportunity is available for an experienced CVOR Technician to support a dynamic Operating Room (OR) environment in Cooperstown, NY. This travel position offers a chance to work within a well-equipped facility that manages a high volume of diverse surgical cases, primarily focused on General Surgery and Orthopedics, with multiple additional specialty service lines. Location Overview: Cooperstown is a picturesque town in New York known for its historic charm and scenic surroundings. Responsibilities: Provide skilled nursing support within the Operating Room setting. Participate in on-call rotations, averaging 4-5 shifts per month. Support a broad range of surgical service lines, including Plastic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Vascular, ENT, Gynecology, Urology, GI, Pain Management, Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular Hybrid, and Podiatry cases. Confidently operate and assist with extensive OR equipment and technology from various vendors. Maintain strong foundational OR skills to safely assist with diverse case types. Remain flexible to respond to a variety of cases that may present during on-call periods. Qualifications / Desired Experience: Valid nursing licensure with surgical OR or CVOR nursing experience. Familiarity with multiple surgical specialties and ability to adapt quickly. Comfortable working with a broad inventory of surgical instruments and technology. Ability to work independently under on-call conditions while maintaining excellent patient care. Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-volume OR environment is advantageous.
